I have been busy finding lots of pictures of Helena and Tim together at both the BAFTA TV Awards, and the after party! Unfortunately Helena lost out once again tonight, losing her Best Villain award at the MTV Movie Awards, to her Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton. Her film, Alice in Wonderland also lost out in the Best Movie category to The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Unfortunately, earlier tonight, Helena lost out at the BAFTA Awards, losing her Best Actress award to the incredibly talented Julie Walters (her Harry Potter co-star). However, when Julie was accepting her award, she gave several accolades to the wonderful Helena! Watch her acceptance speech to hear her, and see a few shots of Helena! I have also written out what she said, regarding Helena, below it, for those who can't understand her!
It's a huge privilege to be nominated alongside two fab actresses. The gorgeous Helena Bonham Carter, who of course I killed a few weeks ago with my wand. In Harry Potter, for those of you who don't know. She still turned up.
Helena has reported lost out at the BAFTA TV Awards, the award for Best Actress going to Julie Walters for her performance in Mo. However this has not been announced on the television yet, so even Helena doesn't know. I think there has been a mess up on the website, and the results have leaked.
Hopefully she'll do better at the MTV Movie Awards!
Helena and Tim have arrived together at the BAFTA TV Awards, and Helena looks gorgeous. She's wearing a stunning red dress, and she's got her signature hat with netting. I have currently added 68 MQ images of them together, most of them are now untagged, but I'm looking for the few remaining pictures in untagged versions, and will replace them when I get them! I will also post the results of her nomination at the BAFTA TV Awards later tonight, and the results of her nomination at the MTV Movie Awards tomorrow!
Both of the awards ceremonies will be airing tonight, so we will update you with the results of both. However, Helena of course can't be in two places at the same time. It has been confirmed that Helena will be attending to BAFTA Awards tonight, so we will post all pictures available.
Thanks to KRC for posting this interview on the tagboard! It's a general Alice in Wonderland related intetview, but interestingly, Helena mentions that Johnny Depp is godfather to both Billy and Nell. She also said that she watches Lark Rise To Candleford, which is interesting because Julia Sawalha is in it, and she also played Saffron in Absolutely Fabulous, in which Helena played 'Dream Saffron'. She was also in 'Crapford', as Tim calls it. Bit of trivia there for you
Q. How is Johnny Depp with your children? Because he’s their godfather, isn’t he? Helena Bonham Carter: Yeah, to both of them. We doubled up because I knew Nell would kill me later on if she found out: “How come he got Johnny Depp!” He’s colossally generous. But it’s funny… he changes every single time Billy [Raymond] sees him, so he has no idea what he looks like. He calls him ‘uncle Johnny’ but we’re always saying: “That’s Uncle Johnny.” But he always looks scary he was Sweeney Todd, he was Willy Wonka… it is scary. So they’re both a bit scared of him I think. He does great things, though… there was a pirate birthday, so he sent a full-on best Captain Jack outfit with an amazing wig. As we all know, Helena has been nominated for the Best Villain Award at the MTV Movie Awards, but what we need is for everyone to keep voting! Helena deserves to win this award, and if she does, it'll be her first ever MTV Movie Award! She is nominated for her incredible performance as the Red Queen in her recent film Alice in Wonderland. The awards are on the 6th June 2010, so please keep voting for Helena, you can do so at least once a day, via the image below! Also, get your friends to vote for her too!
For those who are not members of Helena World I thought I should probably give you an update on the book! We received confirmation that the book arrived at the agency on Tuesday 25th May and they were passing it onto Helena. We're still waiting to hear whether or not she has seen the book, but it shouldn't be long!
We have also received an email from Action Duchenne thanking us for our donations :
"Thank you so much for fundraising for Action Duchenne. That is an amazing amount raised and we really appreciate your help."

The National Movie Awards are currently airing in the UK, in which Helena is nominated for Best Performance and Alice in Wonderland is nominated for Best Fantasy!
Unfortunately Alice lost to The Twilight Saga: New Moon in the Best Fantasy award, however, another of Helena's films Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince just won the award for Best Family Film. Helena also unfortunately lost her award for Best Performance to Robert Pattinson from Twilight. Congratulations to the all the winners!
