Yesterday, Helena was in Germany to attend the premiere of 55 Steps, also known as Eleanor & Colette. Helena is wearing a silk top and skirt by Claire Barrow.
Helena will be appearing in an episode of the second series of Tate Britain’s Great Art Walks on Sky Arts! The first episode airs 17th April at 8pm, but I’ve yet to confirm which episode she will feature in.
Celebrities including Billy Connolly, Helena Bonham Carter and Robert Lindsay explore the life and work of their favourite artists by visiting a landscape they captured in a masterpiece. Hosted by historian Gus Casely-Hayford and featuring fascinating facts and beautiful locations.
It is now official – Helena will take over from Vanessa Kirby playing Princess Margaret in Netflix’s The Crown!
The first promotional poster for 55 Steps has been released – albeit under a different name! The film will be titled Eleanor & Colette when it is released in Germany in May. Interestingly, this was the intended title of the film when it was initially offered to Helena in 2006 – Helena was set to play Hilary Swank‘s role of Colette, while Susan Sarandon would play Eleanor.
Helena is currently attending the British Academy Film and Television Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, wearing a black Vivienne Westwood dress in support of the #TimesUp movement. She is pictured here with filmmaker, James Ivory.
Numerous news sites have been reporting that Helena is ‘all but confirmed’ to take on the role of Princess Margaret, currently portrayed by Vanessa Kirby, in series three of the Netflix’s The Crown.
Olivia Colman has already been confirmed as taking over from Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II.
